Our parent company, BHP, Inc,. has been selling top quality pet bird supplies since 1997.  With 8 parrots of our own, we're all about helping you provide loving, enriching bird care for your own parrots.  We've always specialized in a nice variety of bird supplies that we would use with our own parrots. 
 
But, as devotees of animal science research including bird safety and parrot enrichment, we realize that there is a huge need to properly socialize pet birds, properly exercise pet birds and properly enrich pet birds.  We've found that intelligent, social parrots REALLY NEED SOCIALIZATION EVERY SINGLE DAY~ That can't be done in a cage!  Parrots require socialization, enrichment, foraging opportunities and bird training. Bird stands are a necessity. 
 

There are a lot of folks out there that truly want to provide their parrot with appropriate enrichment.  Real parrot lovers read the research about parrots' socialization needs and foraging needs.  However, between work and family, when do you socialize? Security: Our shopping cart uses the most up-to-date encryption and coding technology. Your personal information is never rented or sold. It is only used to allow us to give you the best possible customer service available with automated email order and shipping notifications.

Shipping

How is shipping calculated?
Our bird stands are shipped direct from the manufacturer or distributor for two reasons. First, we want to insure the quickest delivery.  Second, no matter how well a large item is packed, there is a possibility of damage each time it is shipped. Some of our tree style bird stands are made to order.  This means that I gather information such as what parrot the stand is intended for, special requests such as height, multiple bird use, etc.  Then, parrot experts custom make your bird stand.  This can take up to four weeks, possibly a little longer during the holiday season.   

Express orders : We do not accommodate expedited or express ship orders. No exceptions.

What method will my order ship?
Most of our bird stands ship via Fed Ex or UPS

Payment Options

Payment in full must be received before an order can be processed or shipped. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal and check or money orders in U.S. funds. Returned checks are subject to a $20 processing fee.

If you decide to pay by calling in your credit number or mailing a check or money order, we will not ship your order until we receive payment. Checks over $50 may be subject to hold until cleared by the bank.

Returns & Exchanges

Damaged Items , Wrong or Missing Items

 

PLEASE Email us within 72 hours for authorization before you send any items back.

    Damages: We will file a claim with our shipping company and send a replacement as soon as we obtain a claim approval number, usually within 48-72 hours. If you require immediate replacement, we will charge your credit card for the second shipment and offer a refund once our shipping company has made a determination regarding the first shipment.

     Incorrect Shipments: We will ship the correct order with a return label. You will be charged at the time the second order is sent and reimbursed once the return or incorrect item is received at our location.

Shipping Charges: If the problem is an error on the part of our distributors or our shipping company, we will pay for return shipping charges.

Return Policy:  Most Bird stands are shipped direct from the manufacturer and CAN NOT be returned. Please email us with your order number and a description of the problem and we will make sure that the problem gets corrected. PLEASE Email us within 72 hours  to report problems or missing parts.

 
Conscientious bird owners do not want to receive bird stands that have previously been exposed to other birds and that may potentially carry disease. You can trust that any item you receive from Www.PetBirdStands.com has not been exposed to birds and will be safe and sanitary.

Privacy Policy

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. It is strictly confidential. Your email address and phone number allow us to reach you should we have a question or problem with your order. Your email address is additionally used for automated notifications on your order being received and shipped that allow us to give you optimal service.

You will not receive unsolicited marketing from us. We do have an email subscribed Preferred Customer bulletin but you would need to select this when you create a Log in account (which is optional). We do not automatically enroll anyone.

Creating an Account

You have the option of creating an account when you order. This will retain your address and email information so you don't need to reenter on future orders. You will choose a unique user name and password to ensure your account information is accessible only to you. Your information is completely private and is not used for anything other than internal customer service. We never rent or sell customer information.

You can elect to join our email list when you create an account. This will give you preferred customer notifications of sales, special and new arrivals. You can only be on the list if you choose to, we do not automatically subscribe you.

Editing Your Account
You can make changes to your account at any time by going to Login on the home page. Your user account will have the unique Login ID and password you chose when you set it up. Once logged in, you can change your contact information, password, remove your name from our email list and more.

If you forget the password our store will automatically send it to you when you try to log in and fail.

Technical Problems

What should I do if I get an error message?
An error message can be caused for a number of reasons. The best thing to do is go back a page and try again 20-30 seconds later. If the error continues a screen will pop up allowing you to send an error report to us for diagnosis.

The page is not loading or is loading quite slowly
We have tried to design our store so it will load quickly. If you have a reasonably fast and new computer and are experiencing a slow loading, this can be due our site having too many people accessing it at one time, or the server is having a "time out." Hit the"stop"button from loading the page, count to 5 and hit "refresh"to try again. If it is taking more than 30 seconds for a page, you are usually better off stopping and trying again in a few minutes.

I am having difficulty placing multiple items in my cart
This can be a function of a setting on your browser. Having cookies turned off is the most usual cause. Reset your computer to allow cookies and you should be able to continue without a problem.

My credit card information is not completing
We process orders manually so your credit card is not charged when you place the order. It is charged only when we ship or special order custom made products. You may want to look at the example to see how our shopping cart requires the information to be typed in. If the shopping cart is still not accepting your credit card, please call us at 877-377-8295 so that we may offer assistance.
